Wet Cold Sock Therapy

This at-home treatment acts to reflexively increase circulation and decrease congestion in the upper respiratory passages, head, and throat. You can use it for inflammation or infection of the throat, neck pain, ear infections, nasal congestion, upper respiratory infections, coughs, bronchitis, sinus infections, and more.


How to:

  • Soak a pair of cotton socks in cold water, wring them out so they do not drip. 
  • Warm your feet in warm water for 5-10 minutes.
  • Dry off your feet.
  • Place cold wet socks on feet then cover with thick wool socks.
  • Go to bed and keep socks on overnight. In the morning the socks should be dry and warm.
